"Joe has always been curt and somewhat rude at times, with me on the phone and always made an excuse as to why premiums are going up and I should just live with it. However Jason is the absolute worst person in this office, he is so rude, arrogant along with a lack of customer service and professionalism it pushed me to leave this agents office after being with them for 30 years. Beth has been great through it all and nice over the years, however I would not recommend this office to anyone.. go to any other State Farm agent in Louisville before going here."

"After being a customer for almost five years, I called to cancel because I changed my drivers insurance and it was cheaper to just bundle home and renters at a new company. The same day I completed my transaction with the new company, I called Joe’s office and spoke to someone about cancelling. He said he could cancel and would refund me payment for the rest of the month/billing period. Overall, I was pleased with this transaction. Two months later, I checked my bank statement to realize that State Farm and Joe’s office had continued to bill me after requesting to cancel. Frustrated that I hadn’t caught it the month prior, I called Joe’s office in hopes that, at the very least, I could get the most recent payment refunded. I figured it was a loss to go further back than that. When Joe himself answered the phone (the only time I’ve actually spoken with him since signing up for their services), I tried to politely explain what happened and was cut off multiple times by Joe explaining that his office would have never cancelled my membership without a written request. Which is fine except that was never explained to me by the associate who I spoke with when I called to cancel. Joe then, seemingly inconvenienced by my request, then informed me that he’d be unable to refund any payment past 30 days. At this point, he asked that I email him my request for cancellation and a copy of my new policy (why? I’m unsure.) It was at this point that I wrote my initial review of his services. I felt like I hadn’t been listened to or heard, simply dismissed. 1/5 stars. I emailed Joe a cancellation request and also noted in my email the withdrawal dates that I would like refunded. He didn’t respond that day. The next day I followed up to mostly confirm that he received my request for cancellation. He also said that he’d try and refund my previous withdrawals which I did greatly appreciate. However, I received an email today from Joe about the review that I left and called it “severe.” While I did put my review out into the world and stand behind what I said, I found that to be incredibly unprofessional. I’m editing here not because I feel like I should but because I want to provide more clarity as to why I left the review I did. If you had a great experience with Joe and his team at State Farm, great. I didn’t and I’m sharing why here."

"Best agent/agency in city. My parents were with Joe Sr. I started with Joe Jr. Beth, rest of staff have always been the best. In my over 50+ years of being insured home & auto by them not had but 1 claim that wasn't covered & should have been....which still upsets me though I didn't change carrier."

We had a total loss of one of our autos and Joe's, staff walked us through everything as to what to expect, timeframes and what we needed to take to their office to complete the process. I called and Daniel, explained WHY St. Farm, had to total our favorite little truck and asked if I could provide the claim number...I told him that I had to search for it and would call back. The NEXT morning Daniel, called me back. He took all the info, called claims and kept us up-to-date with everything. Beth handled the premium adjustments and after she calculated and updated our file, called us about the changes.
